Our Journey
1989:
Protrade and Woodline Manufacturing CC was established as an export manufacturer of wooden umbrellas and outdoor furniture across the globe.
2017:
We rebranded to Woodline Shade Solutions (PTY) Ltd, emphasizing our specialization in umbrellas. We also established Woodline Shade Solutions, Inc. in the USA to fuel our growth in the North American market.
2023:
Recognizing the importance of corporate branding in the local market, we launched a dedicated division for digitally printed canopies, Woodline Branding Solutions. By 2023, we had expanded our product range to include comprehensive visual advertising solutions, such as gazebos, flags, and banners, catering to both indoor and outdoor branding needs.

We manufacture all of our own products at our vertically integrated production plant based at Jeffreys Bay in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, one of the fastest expanding urban areas in the country and close to two major sea ports. We have sales and distribution centers in Johannesburg, Cape Town and the USA, ensuring you get the best products, every time.
